The Woven Air™ Cushion is a comfortable pressure care cushion which requires minimal maintenance. It is very stable for an air cushion & suitable for side & frontal transfers. The Contour base accessory provides increased stability & pressure dispersion.
Woven Air has unique properties which enable full flotation through each quarter of the cushion without ever needing to inflate it. “Air tubes” are woven back & forth through an “Air Pocket” which holds them in a vertical position so that pressure dispersion & equalisation transfer is focused vertically for maximum immersion. The cushion is laterally very stable & doesn’t bunch during transfers. The base of the “Air Pocket” inner is a hook-receptive loop fabric, enabling the use of positioning pads for addressing pelvic obliquity etc.
