Aluminium Alloy Frame
The frame is light, strong and corrosion-resistant. Inspired by the successful award-winning CarbonQuad Collection, Carbon Fibre Design Film is used to cover the tubing.
Anti-Slip Self-Standing Tip
The Anti-Slip design improved the frictional dynamics, especially on smooth surfaces. The soft-engineered rubber encourages natural walking motions, thus reduces excessive stress on the elbow.
Safety Detachable Wrist Cord
Upon sudden excessive force applied to the wrist cord, it will automatically detach and reduce the chance of the walking sticks obstruct the user. This safety design ensures that the user will not be blocked by the walking sticks when they break-fall in an emergency.
Interchangeable Base
Normally, only about 10% of the body weight is subject to a walking stick. A patient who suffers from a hip or leg injury will usually use a quad cane to transfer about 30% of their body weight on the walking aid.
The bottom tubing is embedded with a positioning groove and screw thread to enable flexibility in switching to a more stable interchangeable quad.
The package comes complete with a single tip and an Anti-slip Self-stand tip. In addition, users can purchase a Medium or Small Quad Base separately.
